Press guidelines
Guidelines for filming and photography
These rules apply to video recording and photography at Copenhagen Historical Market.
Responsibility and safety
- §1. All press must follow the guidelines of the Danish Union of Journalists, Danish law and KHM’s press guidelines.
- §2. Anyone moving about at KHM does so at their own risk.
- §3. Entering the safety areas around the various activities is not permitted. Instructions from KHM staff must be followed at all times.
Consent
- §4. You may only film or photograph individuals with that person’s consent.
- §4.1. Atmosphere shots are, however, exempt.
- §5. Filming or photographing sales stalls and their staff requires the consent of the staff at that stall.
- §6. Filming or photographing reenactors in their camp requires the consent of the people in the camp.
- §7. You may not film or photograph reenactors or staff who have been injured.
- §8. If KHM or guests ask for video recordings or photos to be removed, the request must be complied with.
Rights to photos and films
- §9. Photos and films sent to KHM at info@khm.dk or via Facebook will be credited to the photographer as far as possible – but not when used in KHM’s marketing material, e.g. flyers, posters and adverts.
- §9.1. The photographer owns the films and photos and may use them as they see fit, including selling them. It must, however, be stated that the films and photos were taken at KHM.
- §9.2. KHM has the right to use submitted films and photos, cf. §9, and may use them freely and free of charge in both print and digital media and for press purposes, without further agreement with the photographer.
The final word
- §10. The organisers and media group of Copenhagen Medieval Market have the final say in any dispute or question about the press rules, and their decisions must be followed.
