An unforgettable history lesson

Give the children a day in an important period of Danish history – where they see history unfold with their own eyes.

Up close with history

The children can get really close to passionate reenactors who show historical crafts, clothing, food, housing and warfare.

Throughout the day there are various shows where the reenactors present everything from fire juggling to fighting with real weapons.

Breaks and packed lunches

There is plenty of seating at the market where you can take a short break from all the activities.

Here you can eat your packed lunches or some of the delicious food and drink from our large historical tavern tents.

A time capsule for all the senses

At the market you can experience history brought to life: reenactors who happily share their knowledge of the Viking Age and the Middle Ages – how people lived, farmed the land and traded. There are wild shows with horses, great battles, singing groups and jugglers.

Whether you love history or just want to enjoy a pleasant day with a great atmosphere, there is something for everyone. We believe the past can teach us a great deal we can use today – and at the very least inspire us.

We look forward to receiving your application.
