For reenactors
Dear reenactor. As always, it is a pleasure to have you at KHM. Here you can read what to expect as a reenactor at KHM – and how, and as what, to sign up.
Sign-up
Sign up as a reenactor using the button below. Remember to read the applicant’s guide before you apply.
Your order is binding from 1 May 2026. If you do not cancel before this date, you will still have to pay.
Payment is made in cash or by card when you collect your food tickets. If that is not possible for you, write to info@khm.dk.
Before you apply
We recommend that everyone – even if you have taken part for many years – reads the guide before sending an application.
How you can take part
A sales stall is, as a rule, any stall that sells goods at KHM.
Sales stalls pay 10% commission on turnover above DKK 4,000 – see the worked example below.

As a rule, groups may not sell.
A stall that practises a craft at KHM, and talks about and shows its craft.
Craft stalls are welcome to sell goods and – unlike stallholders – pay no commission on sales. Active demonstration is checked; if it is not kept up, the stall pays on the same terms as a stallholder.
Mead stalls sell mead at KHM and, like stallholders, must be approved. Commission is agreed individually.
Mead stalls may offer tastings but may not serve drinks.
Food stalls sell food at KHM and, like stallholders, must be approved. Commission is agreed individually.
Food stalls may not serve drinks.
KHM handles all sales of drinks to guests and is, as a rule, the only one allowed to sell drinks at the market.
Children’s activities are, as a rule, placed in the roleplay area. Exceptions require further dialogue.
You accept the tokens KHM sells and exchange them for kroner after the market by bank transfer.
Sales stalls pay 10% commission on turnover above DKK 4,000. If you sell for DKK 5,000, the sum looks like this:
